Ingredients (for 4 people)
- 1 kg potatoes or 4 portions of ready-made mashed potatoes
- 5 pieces Minipic
- Landjäger or any other uncooked sausage from the range
- 2 dl milk
- Grated cheese
Method (Preparation time: 15 minutes, recipe takes approx. 30 minutes)
Peel potatoes, boil in salted water then mash using a vegetable masher. Bring to the boil 2 dl milk with 50 g fresh butter and add the potato to it. Alternatively, you can use ready-made mashed potatoes. Season with grated nutmeg and spoon into a buttered ovenproof container.
Cut the sausage into rounds and stick them into the mashed potatoes, sprinkle the dish with grated cheese and garnish with a few curls of butter. Bake in the oven at approx. 180°C for 20 - 30 minutes. Best served with freshly prepared seasonal vegetables or salad.
